18 Rules I Learned In Laguna

My cousin Annie in Laguna. Is very neat in lots of things, like the rule she tells that the computer must always be covered, so dirt can't easily malfunction it.

Here are the 18 things I learned:

1.  In the morning the dog must be walked.
2.  Must water the plants.
3.  Greet uncle good morning.
4.  Wash the dishes properly after eating.
5.  Laundry my clothes every two days.
6.  Take the dog a bath every two days.
7.  Always check nails when going to public areas.
8.  Guard the store.
9.  Must memorize every expenses of in the store.
10.  The cigarets must not be sold, at least, until 1O:OO a.m.
11.  The time must be spent wisely.
12.  Cannot watch TV until 1O:OO a.m.
13.  The electric fan must be in the minimum level, unless the temperature is to hot to handle.
14.   My dirty clothes must be folded neatly until the laundry day.
15.   In  the after noon, all the food in the kitchen, downstairs, must be placed in the dinning room upstairs.
16.   Close all the doors, and turn on the lights outside.
17.   Ready my bed, before going to sleep.
18.   Have a 20 to 30 minute devotion every night.  

If I didn't follow, even one of these rules. There will be a 30 minute subtraction from my computer time.

Doggy Experiments

In my blog, "Man's Best Friend" I told you about dog's history and some of it's behavior. And here I will tell you it's participation to us, by our movements.

A dog and a monkey was tested, on who is more cooperative. The test had three materials. Two upside down cups and a piece of treat, under one of the bottom up cups.

It was shown to a monkey, (they say, the close to our kind) but before that, the experiment was shielded, so the monkey can't see where the treat was placed. The scientist pointed the the cup with the treat, but the monkey did not cooperate and pointed the opposite cup. So no treat.

It was the dog's turn, the experiment was repeated, and the dog listened, based on the pointing of the scientist, it had a treat. The scientist also pointed the the cup with the treat with it's eye movement. The dog listened and again got a treat!

So, what is the explanation in this situation. The reason why the monkey didn't participate, is because it is not interested in our environment, and has it's own environment, like it's self-reliant. While the dog, also has it's environment. And it is us. They rely their lives on us. We have their food and shelter. They are a part of us, and our behavior can also affect theirs.

 

Man's Best Friend

Dogs are known as "man's best friend." they are now a part of our human lives. But where did dogs really come from? What happened to them? Behold, the wolves, The mother of all dog's. Back in the 1800's. A facility was made for raising nothing but, Wolves.

The cubs were studied, and experimented, and they tried to tame it. Generations passed, they came out with a very stunning conclusion, their experiment worked! and the wolves started to change color and started to have different breeds, close to what we have these days. some became longer, some had shorter snouts and some had shorter legs. 

In our time, we are still studying the behavior of our pet/companion.  I'll give you a trivia. When a dog wagged it's tail rapidly to the right, it is very happy or pleased. But if it wagged it's tail to the left, it is alerted, angry or saw someone or something unfamiliar. When down. It is scared. 

But, did you know that dogs are also studying us, our movements, our sounds, but most of all our eyes, which is rare behavior you will see in animals. Find it all out on, "Doggy Experiments."

Misdirection

Misdirection; "the closer you look, the less you will see."-Daniel Atlas (Watch "Now You See Me"). Misdirection or Magic is usually used in entertainment and fooling people around you. Here in what you will read, you will know the three rules of magic. But before that, Jews used slight of hand to steal food from the Egyptians.

 

Rule 1: As I said before " the closer you look the less you will see".

Rule 2: Be the smartest person in the room.

Rule 3: If you think you're one step ahead, you're always 2.3.7 back.

So never be fooled!!

The Pentatonix Royals

This cool video of Pentatonix stunned me it really came from their mouths. The coordination of the sounds  from their mouths made the song more beautiful than the original. Hope you will notice it.

The Long History of Lego

Lego, the well-known toy that is played by a child and a childish person. But here, you will know the history of the toy you usually play with.

In The Beginning

The Lego began in the carpentry workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen, in Billund, Denmark. In 1916. But before that, Christainsen had a woodworking shop where he made furnitures that started in business in 1895. Which was all burned. in 1924,  when the fire ignited on some of his woodwork.

And by that time, he decided to make a larger company, but it did not flourish when the Great Depression started. Then it was the time when he was inspired to make toys. Then in mid-1930's the yo-yo toy which he made became popular but soon it became out of style. But, good thing his son, Godtfred, helped him and played an important role in the company.

In 1932, Ole Kirk decided to make a name for the company. And soon came out in LEGO that means, a legion of toys, " I put together" in Latin, And leg godt means "play well" in Danish.

In World War II, plastic became possible and the company bought a molding machine and the standard toy he made was a LEGO truck but it was easily teared apart so his son tried to make a more usable design and ended up in the LEGO we are playing today. 

Back to Exhaustion and Going Home

It was the third day in Famy, it was a long three-day retreat and we had a very good encounter with God's creations. And now we are going back to homes in Antipolo. But before that, our new members wanted to be baptized, and my dad granted the request.

After the baptism, we prepared the food, got water for the trip, packed or things and and readied for the long, long walk. 

After breakfast, We walked off, but bad news was on the end, because we had neither car nor money to to take us home, but we had faith. "Faith is believing on what you can't see." Then just a few minutes, a truck came to drive us home.

Creepy Tales

It was still the second day in Famy. And I was narrating the happening to my dad and he was very surprised when he heard it. I told him that, like someone or something dragged me down on the deepest part of the lake. Explaining, the lake had a deep hole that was made by the pressure of the falls.

And it had me more creeps when I knew, that the place where I almost died, had drowned lots of people that can't swim, and I was almost one of them. Famy had dozens of beautiful falls that killed people that is why the place is haunted.

We went to another fall, we swam trough deep lakes to find another, but I didn't care because I knew that God will always protect me and I will see more of his beauty, that he put in this world.

It is creepy when the night is falling especially when you are talking about scary things, like the, end times or the "satan worshipers" and Hell also the history of the bible, when Moses , by the help of God, cut the sea in half for the Israelites to be free. We also talked about the most embarrassing moments we had and the scariest.

We were getting to sleep when a scream alarmed us. It was my mother and her friends holding a cellphone with a picture that has a unknown creature or or monster behind them and on it's head was another. That was when I started shivering and having goose bumps, but when my mom sang a hillsong, I became calm.

Beautiful yet Really Deadly

It was my second day in Famy Laguna and breakfast was ready. After breakfast and an hour of rest to digest our food, we went to the falls. And that was the day I drowned. Because someone or something dragged me down mysteriously!

My friend was also drowning and in panic, he pulled my hair and pushed me down underwater so he could go up (because he didn't know how to swim!!)

We underwater for like six minutes and I didn't even notice, I thought I was going to die. But thank God I didn't! I swam up when I realized it was safe and swam straight a little more, And when I finally touched the ground, I was relieved. While my friend was lying there and I felt the water on my tummy.

Exhausting yet Beautiful

We had a three day retreat in Famy, and there we saw the beauty God made to the Philippines. The mountains and the falls are very mesmerizing. The first day, exhaustion will bring you down but in the end, there will be refreshment and fresh air to breath in.

But bad news came, that there will be a LPA and will hit our place. So we prayed to God that it won't rain and it didn't. When we arrived at the campsite, we cooked our food and built our tents.

It was night time and we had bonfire. After that we went to sleep.

Cesar Millan, AKA "The Dog Whisperer." And he believes that every dog can be tamed with love. discipline and affection. If someone is troubled with their dog like, it eats trash or bites every dog it sees, Cesar is always on the rescue. 

April 29 Cesar came to the Philippines to and a lot of viewers came to watch his show, they brought their dogs and got tips from Cesar.

No Place Like Home

Last night was the best night I had  in Tacloban, because there were less of us and more space to sleep in. Getting the half of us out isn't so bad after all.

It was, again, early in the morning.6:4O, Saturday,19 April 2O14. Feeling a little bit sleepy, I changed my clothes, packed my things and got ready for the ride to the airport. After breakfast, we got inside the van  and rode off to the SEA 13O.

The plane soared so high, good thing I was close to the window of the cargo plane and the view was surprising because the houses, cars and the boats were like toys, and the trees were like very small bushes. The clouds were very white, we went inside one and you can see nothing, all white and bumpy.

After two hours we arrived in Manila. We rested for a few minutes and after that, a van came to take us  home. In the ride I was hoping for us to go to the mall, I was really eager to go to mall to have some lunch. Unfortunately we didn't.

We ate luncheon in ROCM and went home in an Antipolo at 1:3O p.m. The dedication of my baby cousin, Keziah was almost starting when we came but I didn't care, I went to my room and slept.

So Long, Farewell

Still in Tacloban

I was having a beautiful dream, when someone woke me up early in the morning, Again!! It was my dad. 5:45, Friday 18 April 2O14, and my dad told me that going home early in Antipolo because he was going to dedicate the daughter of my Uncle, Jeremiah.

So he wants me to teach about God to the people that loiter in the San Juanico Bridge. I thought to myself,"but I teach children in VBS, how can I teach there?

Dad was gone after breakfast. We were starting the VBS when I knew that Paul was also going early with his mother and father. After the VBS we, again went to MacArthur and took pictures of ourselves and the

sea.

When we returned, our leader decided that the half of the team, including aunt Concept and Rezzy will take land that day. While us will take the SEA 130 the next day. When they rode off, which was sad for us because Rezzy was gone from our group. To take the bitterness from our faces, we hit the rode to Andoks. While waiting for the ice cream. Our pastor, pastor Arc, let us borrow his tablet, then we played

a word game, which drove us crazy. 

7:OO p.m. we cleaned ourselves and played 'truth or dare', where they made me dance ballet and pick my nose, and made Nicole smell a friend's foot, and Renzo run around in monkey. Well, I really hate that game!!!
